Porsche 944S2 (1991)
Well time has come for my Porsche 944S2 to find a new home.
Its in Fabulous Cobalt Blue with Porsche logo interior. It was first redgistered on 14th August 1991, which makes it a "J" plate car. Its currently on a cherished plate that will stay with the car. I bought it in December 2004, when it had covered aprox 92K miles. It now has aprox 102K miles on. I have ALL the previous MOT certificates [ from day one] to warranty the milage.Including a huge file of reciepts of work that has been carried out . I purchased the car with the full intention of using it as a track day "toy", + in the years since i bought it i have spent FORTUNES on it. These include... FULLY rebuilt engine [ buy EMC Motorsport], incl new cams + chain , water pump,belts,lightened + balanced crank rods etc etc etc [ALL the usual things that would go with a FULLY rebuilt engine. Lightened flywheel. New clutch. Janspeed [de cat]twin outlet stainless exhaust. FULLY rebuilt gearbox, to incl a LSD from a 944Turbo + the oil cooler assembly from the same.[Basically a 944turbo box with S2 ratio,s].. The car now sits on 968 Club Sport suspension, meaning its a good 20-30mm lower than a standard S2. It has had the torsion bars re-indexed [properly] It also has 968 CS brakes. Braided hoses ,Castrol SRF brake fluid [THE best] All the engine and gearbox work didnt need to done to the car, its just that i wanted a bullet proof car that wouldnt let me down... I have used it on aprox 10 track days, but as a few of my collegues will testify, i dont drive the car on the redline, there is no need to, as its plenty powerfull to fend off numerous more powerfull cars...
